Shipping Policy
All Viperys wooden city maps are handcrafted to order in our Polish studio and shipped worldwide. Please read this policy carefully — especially the section on damaged packages.
PRODUCTION & DELIVERY TIMES
Production time: 3-5 business days from order confirmation
Shipping time: 2-5 business days (worldwide)
Total delivery time: typically 5-10 business days
Production starts after we receive your personalization details and you approve the digital proof.
SHIPPING METHODS
Worldwide (outside Poland): FedEx Express — free, fully insured, with tracking
Poland: GLS or InPost (Paczkomaty)
Tracking number will be sent to your email as soon as the package leaves our studio.
CUSTOMS, VAT & IMPORT DUTIES (IMPORTANT FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS)
Customs duties, import VAT and any other taxes are NOT included in the product price and are paid by the customer (recipient) at delivery. These charges depend on your country's import regulations and are outside our control.
By placing an order, you accept responsibility for these charges. Refusing to pay customs fees does not entitle you to a refund.
LOST PACKAGES
If your package is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier, we will either:
- Refund your order in full, or
- Remake and reship a new map at no extra cost
It's your choice.
ADDRESS CHANGES
You can request a change of delivery address up to and including the day we ship your package. Once the package has been handed over to the carrier, the address cannot be modified.
To request an address change, email us as soon as possible.
DAMAGED PACKAGES — READ CAREFULLY
If your package arrives damaged, you must follow this procedure on the day of delivery — otherwise the carrier will refuse the claim and we cannot accept responsibility:
1. Inspect the package in the presence of the delivery driver before signing for it
2. If you see any damage to the outer packaging or contents, refuse to sign as undamaged and request the driver to file an official damage report (protocol) on the spot
3. Take clear photos of: the outer packaging, the damage report from the driver, and the damaged product
4. Email us all photos and the damage report on the same day of delivery — this is mandatory
If you fail to inspect, document, or report damage on the day of delivery, the carrier will refuse the insurance claim, and Viperys cannot be held responsible for damaged shipments.
If all steps are followed correctly, we will remake and reship your map at no extra cost.
